Choose a reward your café can sustain.
Start with the behaviour you want to recognise: qualifying purchases, repeat visits or eligible products. Define the reward and its conditions clearly. A stamp scheme and a points scheme are different choices; avoid promising both unless your configuration supports them.
1. Set the rules before inviting members.
Decide which purchases qualify, the stamp target, coupon validity and how staff handle exclusions. Use your ingredient cost calculation when assessing a coffee reward, and allow for labour, overhead and processing too. Ingredient margin alone is not your available profit.
2. Help guests join.
In POSMENTOR, guests register through the venue’s loyalty page and find their member QR, progress and coupons in their digital wallet. Explain how to join at the counter. Keep marketing permission separate from the basic explanation of the reward.
3. Link the member at checkout.
Staff scan the member QR or enter the member code to link the guest to the purchase. Qualifying activity follows the configured campaign rules. Demonstrate the flow with staff before introducing it during the morning rush.
4. Redeem the reward.
When the configured stamp target is reached, the guest can create a reward coupon and present its code at checkout. Eligibility, validity and redemption follow your rules. The POSMENTOR loyalty wallet is not a claim of Apple Wallet or Google Wallet support.
5. Review actual outcomes.
Compare member purchases, rewards issued and redeemed, and the cost of those rewards over a consistent period. Repeat visits are useful evidence; enrolment alone does not prove increased profit. POSMENTOR does not promise a fixed sales uplift.
