Authorized business use
This connection is for authorized restaurant administrators. You must have permission to manage the connected restaurant and disclose its data to your chosen ChatGPT account. Keep credentials secure and review the requested permissions. Do not attempt to access another restaurant, evade security controls or use the connection as an unattended guest kiosk.
Capabilities and confirmation
You can request reports, catalog information and tables; prepare new standard products, supported product changes, new product groups and simple unpaid table orders; and confirm those exact changes. Review the restaurant, target, items, prices and effect before approving. A preview is not a saved change. Product/group changes affect the actual catalog; confirmed order lines enter the kitchen queue. Check the returned operation result and the POS when an outcome is uncertain. Do not place a replacement order merely because a response was delayed.
Limitations
The connection does not configure product bundles, weighed products, images, recipes or tax overrides, collect card details, take payment, issue refunds, delete records or adjust stock. Unsupported modifiers, bundles, weighed products, shared catalogs, paid or discounted orders may require the POS application. AI responses can be mistaken; the restaurant remains responsible for checking operational instructions, customer requests and dietary/allergen information. Kitchen submission does not guarantee physical printing, preparation or service.
Accounts and charges
An active POSMENTOR account with the required permissions and features is necessary. POSMENTOR offers a seven-day trial without purchase. Any later subscription is purchased in app.posmentor.com through Stripe checkout, outside this connection. The plan and checkout terms presented at purchase govern that subscription; these connection terms do not add a separate payment authorization. ChatGPT access and third-party charges remain subject to their providers' terms.
Ending access
You can disconnect through ChatGPT or request server-side revocation from support. Connection grants currently last up to seven days. Disconnecting does not cancel a POSMENTOR subscription, delete saved orders or remove prior ChatGPT conversations. To cancel your POSMENTOR subscription, contact support; cancellation prevents the next renewal and access continues until the paid period ends. Any mandatory cancellation or refund rights remain unaffected.
Availability and security
The service requires internet access and working POSMENTOR and OpenAI services. We may restrict or suspend access for unauthorized use, security incidents, expired entitlements or necessary maintenance. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or a specific support response time. Use the POS application and your restaurant's operational fallback when the connection is unavailable.
Data and legal rights
See the connection privacy notice. Nothing here excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms govern this connection and do not replace separately agreed restaurant data-processing or subscription arrangements. Contact us first to discuss an issue. Laws and courts of England and Wales apply to these connection terms, subject to any mandatory rights or jurisdiction protections that apply to you.
Updates
We may update supported functionality or these terms. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate account or service channel; the effective date appears above.
